A decision has been taken that NADCAO will not form a legal entity at this stage as it would absorb significant resources. We believe the main objective at the moment is to mobilise resources for the sector and ensure its sustainability. 

Also, NADCAO does not envisage being a conduit for funding, rather it will encourage potential donors to provide funds directly to advice offices.  For those funders who don’t have the capacity to distribute resources, existing funding mechanisms through institutions like the Foundation for Human Rights and the Social Change Assistance Trust, will be used.

The Black Sash Trust currently serves as the institutional host for NADCAO.
